Job Title: X-Ray Technician
Location: Astoria, NY 11102
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and 4:00 PM–11:30 PM
Pay Rate Range: $55 – $65 Hourly
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking X-Ray Technician for an exciting Travel or Local job in Long Island City, NY.
ResponsibilitiesOperate X-ray and imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
Minimize radiation exposure using appropriate protective measures and techniques.
Follow infection control and safety protocols in all clinical settings.
Accurately document patient procedures and maintain up-to-date records.
Inspect and maintain equipment functionality; promptly report technical issues.
Monitor and manage inventory of radiology supplies.
Stay current with licensure requirements and continuing education.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to support patient care.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology – Required
Licenses/Certifications
New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T) – Required
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification – Required
