Project Title: Project Manager for Application Rationalization
Role: Technical Project Manager with Health care domain Experience (preferable managing Application development in Health Care/Hospital Systems)

OBJECTIVE
Client is seeking to engage a qualified consultant to support a comprehensive Application Rationalization Assessment within its integrated healthcare system. The client's Health & Hospital System operates a complex application landscape with over 300 active systems supporting 4 hospitals, multiple ambulatory clinics, behavioral health, public health, and related operations. This engagement aims to evaluate the application portfolio, reduce redundancy, optimize cost, and develop a roadmap for system consolidation and decommissioning.

Engagement Approach:
Phase 1 Mobilization & Discovery: Data request, stakeholder alignment, project planning.
Phase 2 Current State Assessment: Interview sessions, system analysis, gap identification.
Phase 3 Strategic Roadmap: Decommissioning plan, rationalization priorities, cost-saving
opportunities.
Phase 4 Final Presentation: Executive summary, key findings, roadmap delivery.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Conduct stakeholder interviews across healthcare departments to assess application usage, value,
and redundancies.
Analyze the complete application inventory (300+ systems), including business and clinical software.
Review licensing, maintenance, and support costs for each application.
Assess application alignment with data retention, legal, compliance, and risk frameworks.
Evaluate system dependencies, technical architecture, and infrastructure footprint (e.g., servers,
storage).
Build and maintain an accurate, searchable application catalog with metadata on ownership, cost, and
utilization.
Identify opportunities for consolidation, standardization, or decommissioning.
Develop a roadmap and action plan for secure decommissioning, archival, and data migration.
Prepare and deliver executive-ready summaries and recommendations.
