Technical product owner - responsible for CICD pipeline/ working with dev leads to streamline process

Manning backlog -

Voice for his team to go to engineering team / build a roadmap - should be forward thinking

Should understand CI/CD pipeline & how they can improve

Trying to mature the practice - need support

Meeting w/ engineering leaders

Create documentation / workflows

Will write user stories/ acceptance criteria

Azure knowledge , Github

Use ADO boards

Pipelines within azure (not Jenkins)

Need to understand how things work - help improve

We are seeking a forward-thinking Technical Product Owner to drive the maturity of our internal development platform and CI/CD pipelines. This role is internal-facing and will serve as the voice of the engineering team - managing the backlog, creating roadmaps, and ensuring our delivery practices continue to evolve. The ideal candidate has strong technical understanding of SDLC and CI/CD pipelines, combined with product ownership skills to influence stakeholders and deliver measurable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the CI/CD pipeline product within an Azure environment (ADO boards, Azure Pipelines, GitHub).
• Partner with engineering leaders to define a roadmap and continuously improve internal development practices.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, documentation, and workflows to support delivery teams.
• Present to stakeholders, explain technical decisions, and translate customer feedback into actionable backlog items.
• Drive adoption of modern DevOps practices and help the organization mature its engineering effectiveness.
• Take ownership of backlog management and ensure prioritization aligns with business and engineering needs.
• Provide problem resolution and support for engineering teams using internal platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role with CI/CD platforms.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and GitHub.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present to technical and business stakeholders.
• Forward-thinking mindset with ability to build and deliver roadmaps.
• Strong documentation and workflow creation skills.
• Ability to work closely with developers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
