Job Title: Social Media Manager
Location: Chicago, IL | New York, NY (Fully In-Person)
Salary: $95,000 - $100,000 per year

Job Description:
As the Social Media Manager , you will oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of social media strategies across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.). Your ability to craft compelling content, engage with audiences, and analyze performance data will be critical to driving success. You will work closely with our creative, content, and marketing teams to elevate our clients' brands and ensure consistency in messaging and voice across all social channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies that align with client goals and objectives.
• Create and curate high-quality content across social media platforms, ensuring consistency with brand voice and messaging.
• Oversee daily social media activities, including scheduling posts, community engagement, and responding to comments and inquiries.
• Monitor and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborate with the creative and content teams to design engaging visuals and copy that resonate with target audiences.
• Lead paid social media campaigns, including budget management, audience targeting, and performance tracking.
• Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep strategies fresh and innovative.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to ensure our social media campaigns are outperforming industry standards.
• Manage social media calendars, ensuring that all posts, promotions, and campaigns are executed on time.
• Work with clients to understand their business needs and adjust social media strategies accordingly.
• Track and manage KPIs related to social media growth, engagement, and ROI.
• Provide regular reports to clients and internal stakeholders, presenting key findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, and strategy development.
• Proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
• Strong understanding of social media best practices, audience segmentation, and platform algorithms.
• Proficient in social media management and analytics tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, Google Analytics, etc.).
• Experience with paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
• Creative mindset with the ability to create compelling content (visuals, copy, videos) for social media platforms.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and platforms.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing social media for large, well-known brands or high-growth startups.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for content creation.
• Knowledge of influencer marketing and experience managing influencer relationships.
• Certifications in social media marketing or digital marketing (e.g., Facebook Blueprint, HubSpot, etc.).
