What You'll Do:
As a Small Business Underwriter, you'll play a vital role in our success by managing your own book of commercial trucking business. You'll be responsible for evaluating risk, determining pricing, and building strong relationships with our agents and insureds. This role offers the perfect blend of autonomy and teamwork, allowing you to make a real impact on our business.
Responsibilities:
Directly influence the profitability and growth of our business.
Evaluate and select risks, determine pricing, and rate endorsements.
Manage your book of business with a high degree of independence in a dynamic environment.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents and insureds, becoming a trusted partner.
Participate in a comprehensive training program that includes one-on-one mentoring, classroom instruction, and self-study.
What You'll Bring:
Prior experience in sales, relationship building, or insurance is a plus, but not required! We're willing to train the right person.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyze risk.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to identify customer needs and effectively present our products and services.
