Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Contract Duration: 6+ months

Location: Edmond, OK - Onsite

Pay rate: $60 - $65/hr on W2

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and enhance the reliability and scalability of our platform across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. This role involves designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure as code, and ensuring production readiness through effective monitoring and incident response strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance platform reliability and scalability across GCP environments.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or equivalent tools to ensure consistent and efficient infrastructure management.
• Improve deployment automation to facilitate seamless and rapid software releases.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and incident response workflows using tools like New Relic and Sentry.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support production readiness and ensure high availability.
• Continuously evaluate and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on GCP environments.
• Strong expertise in designing CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure as code (Terraform or equivalent).
• Experience with deployment automation and supporting production readiness.
• Proficiency in implementing monitoring, logging, and incident response workflows using New Relic and Sentry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Edmond, OK.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other cloud platforms and tools.
• Familiarity with additional monitoring and logging tools.
