Location:  Bullhead City, AZ

The Radiology Manager performs and supervises a variety of imaging department operations while ensuring compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures. Assists with measures to improve the quality of imaging services. Manages department personnel through performance management, training, scheduling, and qualified staff selection.

Essential Job Functions:

The Radiology Manager is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital’s mission, vision, and facility goals. The Manager is responsible for daily operations, personnel management, and regulatory compliance of the imaging department. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers, and vendors. The Manager identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. The Radiology Manager communicates the needs of the department to leadership and collaborates with all departments. The Radiology Manager will operate radiographic equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the ER Physician in accordance with the Radiologist accepted protocols.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in x-ray and CT performing a variety of exams.
• Two years of hospital management experience preferred
• Knowledge of hospital organizations, committees, department functions, and performance improvement activities.
• Demonstrate competent administrative, communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of TJC, CMS, and State of AZ standards
• Computer proficiency in healthcare context - EMR, documentation, safety, and compliance.

Licensure:

• Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current AZ Department of Health Services CRT and CTCT License
• Current BLS
