Job Description

HireVenture is seeking a Patient Care Associate on behalf of our client for their Intensive Care Unit team. This role is responsible for performing both basic and advanced Nursing Assistant skills under the direct supervision of an RN/LPN, following established policies, procedures, and departmental guidelines. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

This is a full-time, night shift role with weekend rotation required.

Phlebotomy training will be provided on the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff by performing patient care tasks within scope of practice.
• Provide support to patients and families to ensure a safe, compassionate environment.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Support ICU staff in maintaining compliance with departmental standards and protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• BLS certification preferred at hire, but required within six months of employment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as scheduled.
