Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Batch Paint Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mixing and blending chemicals according to precise formulations, ensuring high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weigh, measure, and mix raw materials following exact paint formulations.
  • Utilize a variety of material handling, mixing, and weighing equipment.
  • Transfer materials from the raw stage to final product stage.
  • Monitor mixing equipment to ensure proper blending and flow.
  • Pour and package finished products into corresponding containers.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area while following safety protocols and using required PPE.
  • Conduct quality control testing on batch samples.
  • Complete documentation on raw material usage and finished product inventory.
  • Work in a non-air-conditioned chemical plant. Handle physical tasks such as lifting, pulling, and carrying materials for extended periods.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in different units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
  • Ability to strictly follow safety protocols and requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing, mixing, or chemical processing preferred.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
  • Ability to lift and handle materials as needed.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
  • Interview - Candidate must be readily available for an in-person / on-site interview.
