The Role

At Cometeer, we take pride in fostering a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our team and visitors. We are seeking a Temporary Office Space Day Porter / Cleaner who will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our office space. This individual will help create a positive and productive workplace by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

What You'll Do

• Perform daily cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of common office areas, including:
  • Conference rooms
  • Cafeteria and tasting room
  • Restrooms
  • Open office areas
  • Stairwells and lobby

• Restock and monitor inventory levels of consumables (paper products, soap, sanitizers, snacks, cleaning supplies).
• Empty trash and recycling bins; ensure waste areas remain clean and organized.
• Respond to cleaning requests and day-to-day facility needs from staff and management.
• Maintain cleaning tools and equipment in proper working order.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met.

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in commercial, office, or facilities cleaning (preferred).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Comfortable climbing stairs and using ladders as needed.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work.
• Familiarity with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is a plus.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Work Environment

This role is physically active and will require standing, walking, lifting, and bending for the majority of the shift. Tasks may involve working at height or in confined spaces as well as lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
