Loan Officer Assistant/Concierge
Location: Simi Valley, CA (On-Site, Full-Time) Schedule: Monday – Friday

This role is more than just support—you’ll be an integral part of supporting an Elite group of Loan Officers with their business, helping new Loan Officers transition into Amerifund, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to hit the ground running, while also ensuring seamless loan processes and top-tier client experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Loan Officer Onboarding & Training
· Guide new Loan Officers (LOs) through a smooth transition into Amerifund, ensuring they are equipped to start originating immediately.
· Manage licensing sponsorship transfers in the NMLS system and coordinate with compliance teams for timely approvals.
· Train new LOs on company systems, including our Point of Sale (POS) platform, pricing engines, CRM tools, and LOS (ARIVE, UWM, DU, LP).
· Be their go-to resource for the first 90 days, providing hands-on support and mentorship.
Support an Elite group of Producing Loan Officers: For a small and specific group of existing Loan Officers you will perform essential Loan Officer Assistant functions, including:
· Sending application links to borrowers and ensuring timely completion
· Following up with borrowers to collect necessary documentation for loan processing
· Running credit reports and analyzing borrower creditworthiness
· Calculating income accurately based on loan program guidelines
· Qualifying clients for appropriate loan programs based on financial data
· Running Automated Underwriting System (AUS) findings to determine eligibility
· Preparing the loan file for a seamless handoff to Processing, ensuring all necessary documents are included
Personalized Loan Support
· Assist new LOs with loan applications during their first 90 days, ensuring they understand every step of the process.
· POS System Navigation: Help LOs send application links and create personalized needs lists for clients.
· Loan Registration & Locking: Support LOs in learning how to register loans with the investor and lock in rates.
· File Prep: Teach LOs how to use Amerifund’s systems to properly prepare a file for the hand off to processing.
Tech, Systems & Resource Navigation
· Act as the lifeline for new LOs, directing them to internal resources and key team members for specialized assistance.
· Utilize and teach mortgage tech platforms such as DU, LP, ARIVE LOS, UWM, and pricing engines.
· Create explainer videos using Loom, BombBomb, or other video tools to educate both team members.
· Provide technical assistance and train LOs on workflow efficiencies, making sure they understand how to navigate systems with ease.
Client & Team Support
· Be highly customer-centric, ensuring that both borrowers and Loan Officers receive outstanding service.
· Provide ongoing support, organization, and communication to make every transaction seamless.
· Collaborate with internal teams, external investor contacts, and compliance departments to ensure smooth loan operations.
What We’re Looking For:
· Mortgage Expertise: Minimum 3 years of experience in mortgage sales, loan processing, or origination with a strong understanding of how to take a loan from A to Z.
