Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join their preconstruction and estimating team. This role is critical in a fast-paced environment, handling bids, budgets, and preconstruction efforts for projects ranging from $5M–$20M.
Responsibilities:
Review construction documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate estimates
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and analyze subcontractor proposals
Develop and maintain project budgets, cost data, and contract exhibits
Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Support preconstruction activities including RFIs, product research, and bid walk-throughs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
3–5 years of estimating experience across multiple trades, preferably in multifamily or commercial construction
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore preferred
Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
