The Sagamore Resort is looking for a full-time Esthetician to join our team in Bolton Landing, NY. Our ideal candidate has a passion for beauty and is interested in learning more about the industry. We are looking for someone who is organized, punctual, and has a great attitude.
Responsibilities
- Provide services to patients of all ages to ensure they receive the best possible care
- Develop and implement skincare treatments to target specific problem areas
- Educate patients about the benefits of using products to help maintain healthy skin
- Maintain accurate records and follow up records with patients on treatment plans, results, etc.
- Manage and train other estheticians on how to provide skincare treatments as well as how to use our treatment plans
- Assist with inventory management of the retail store and the maintenance of cleanliness in the retail store
- Work with our sales team to promote the store and the services we provide our patients
- Must be willing to perform services as scheduled
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Esthetician or similar role is preferred but not required. We are willing to train a candidate who is passionate about beauty and eager to learn about skincare.
- Ability to work independently with good time management skills and be self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as well as an ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Rate of pay is $12.90 an hour, plus commission and gratuities based on hours worked.
