Job Description

Job Title: Energy MarshalJob Description An Energy Marshal plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and compliant handling of energy systems during construction and commissioning, especially in complex environments like data centers. Responsibilities + Oversee and enforce electrical safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. + Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations such as NFPA 70E and OSHA. + Review documentation, conduct audits, and provide expert guidance on energy isolation procedures. + Coordinate energization and de-energization activities with various stakeholders. + Participate in high-risk activity planning meetings related to energy isolation. + Maintain and update relevant documentation such as single-line drawings. Essential Skills + Expertise in NFPA 70E and electrical safety management. + 10+ years of electrical contracting experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong understanding of electrical construction. + Quality-minded approach to tasks. Work Environment The role is based in data center construction environments, which require adherence to stringent safety protocols and standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
