We are seeking a reliable and friendly Part-Time Door Person to join our team at Cornell Arms Apartments during the hours of 6 pm to 2 am Monday-Saturday. The Door Person will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our residents and guests at Cornell Arms Apartments. This position requires excellent customer service skills, a keen attention to security, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse set of individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome residents and guests as they enter and exit the building.
- Monitor the building's entrance to ensure security and safety protocols are followed.
- Assist residents with inquiries and provide information about the building amenities and services.
- Handle and report any issues or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with the delivery of packages and mail, ensuring proper distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized entrance area, including keeping doors secure.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
- Collaborate with the security team and other staff members to maintain a safe environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including response protocols for emergencies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service or security role is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to navigate stairs in case of emergency.
