CALLING ALL PET LOVERS!

JAC is the premier dog walking and pet sitting company in Plymouth, MA, since 2008. We are seeking pet lovers for part-time Monday through Friday Dog Walking (with some pet sitting). This is a great way to earn an extra $50-250+ per week, depending on how many pets you care for each day. The best candidate has a heartfelt love for animals and is mature, reliable, detailed-oriented, self-motivated, a team player, and committed to excellent customer service. If you would like to become part of our family of pet professionals, this may be your dream job! We have the following opening:

• Mid-day Dog Walker: Visit and walk dogs during the day. You must be available between the hours of 9:00-2:00, 10:00-3:00, or 11:00-4:00 at least 3-5 days every week. Earlier and later availability is a bonus!

Responsibilities

• Walk dogs of various sizes and temperaments, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and stimulation.
• Monitor the behavior and health of dogs during walks, reporting any concerns to pet owners.
• Maintain control of dogs at all times using proper animal handling techniques.
• Utilize basic training commands as needed to ensure safe walking experiences.
• Clean up after dogs during walks, maintaining a tidy environment.
• Care for other pets in the home as needed (cats, bunnies, birds, etc.)
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and needs.
• Foster positive relationships with both pets and their owners through friendly interactions.

Requirements

• ABSOLUTELY MUST LOVE PETS!!!
• Physically fit. Job requires you to be able to lift up to 50 lbs (to hold strong dogs, carry kitty litter, etc), bend and stoop, and walk long distances)
• Looking for a long term position of at least one year. Pets and their parents will form a bond with you.
• Mature, professional, extremely dependable and fun to work with.
• Enjoy being outside and weather resilient. (Dogs like/need to walk in the rain/snow/heat.)
• Organized and work well independently.
• Loads of common sense!!
• Be flexible - this job is not the same day to day or week to week!.
• Please note: we are open 365 days per year, including all holidays
• Access to a dependable, insured car
• Smart phone required for app access in the field.
• Be able to pass a Background Check!!
• Be totally in love with animals!!! (Oops we said that already!)
